Abstract

Kondisi tanah di Desa Marang Kecamatan Bukit Batu Kota Palangka Raya, Kalimantan Tengah didominasi oleh tanah lunak. Tanah lunak dapat berpengaruh pada konstruksi bangunan dan jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis stabilisasi tanah dengan penambahan serbuk bata merah dan semen portland dengan variasi 5%, 10%, 15% dengan pemeraman 7 hari. Hasil pengujian fisik tanah asli diperoleh nilai, kadar air (w) = 41,26%; berat isi kering ( ) 1,38 g/cm3; berat jenis (Gs) 2,70; LL 40,40%; PL 26,00%; PI 14,40%; SL 20,10%. Dari hasil pemeriksaan batas cair (LL) dan indeks plastisitas (PI) didapat bahwa tanah tersebut menurut sistem USCS termasuk kelompok CL dan Menurut AAHSTO diklasifikasikan sebagai tanah berlempung dalam kelompok A-7-5 (8). Hasil pengujian sifat mekanik tanah asli menunjukan bahwa nilai kadar air optimum (OMC) 24,34%; berat isi kering  1,437 g/cm3; dan nilai CBR tanah asli adalah 2,03%. Campuran semen dan serbuk bata merah berdampak pada meningkatnya nilai CBR. Penambahan variasi campuran 5%, 10%, dan 15% meningkatkan nilai CBR rencana sebesar 3,20%; 3,40%; 8,80% di pemeraman 3 hari dan 3,95%; 5,05%; 5,90% di pemeraman 7 hari. Nilai CBR terbesar terjadi dipenambahan serbuk bata merah 15% di pemeraman 7 hari yaitu sebesar 5,90% meningkat 190,64% dari nilai CBR tanah asli.

 

Soil conditions in Marang Village, Bukit Batu District, Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan are dominated by soft soil. Soft soil can affect the construction of buildings and roads. This study aims to analyze soil stabilization with the addition of red brick powder and portland cement with variations of 5%, 10%, 15% with 7 days of curing. The results of physical testing of the original soil obtained values, water content (w) = 41.26%; dry weight ( ) 1.38 g/cm3; specific gravity (Gs) 2.70; LL 40.40%; PL 26.00%; PI 14.40%; SL 20.10%. From the results of the examination of the liquid limit (LL) and the plasticity index (PI) it was found that the soil according to the USCS system belongs to the CL group and according to the AAHSTO is classified as loamy soil in group A-7-5 (8). The results of testing the mechanical properties of the original soil showed that the optimum water content (OMC) was 24.34%; dry weight ( ) 1.437 g/cm3; and the original soil CBR value is 2.03%. The mixture of cement and red brick powder has an impact on increasing the CBR value. The addition of mixed variations of 5%, 10%, and 15% increased the plan CBR value by 3.20%; 3.40%; 8.80% at 3 days curing and 3.95%; 5.05%; 5.90% at 7 days curing. The largest CBR value occurred with the addition of 15% red brick powder in 7 days of curing, which was 5.90%, an increase of 190.64% from the original soil CBR value.
